Feel good track, "Dear Friend" was recorded by this amazing band. They`re string and brass arrangments are sweet as fuck my friend. Intruigingly they mix this with electronic sounds without sounding electronica - it`s very subtle indeed. Listen to their other stuff on myspace. They don`t always sound the same - and they can have anything between 1 - 200 members at anyone time. So they can be a synth act, an irish folk band .. it`s "whoever, and whenever" and thats the story behind of how this collective work. Having said that, if you like Ben Folds then you`ll like this track - good piano skills and whoever arranges for them is a very talented individual. It takes alot to combine a orchestral section with a regular band - plus electronic elements. It`s a fair lot of work of for the producer - wow! I seem to be following a trend of posting upbeat summery tracks and I`ve not changed tack at all with this. Go get it!
