NEW WAVE / DUB STYLE remix featuring a re-styled, music video
We agreed to do a video over a year ago, but through being busy, and missing a email from her in February meant that it didn`t happen until now. since then, we`ve agreed to do two videos and three remixes.. "Hard to Please" should have been out at first, but the video for this came together so well (due to hunting down footage months ago before I got the studio "tapes")that it jumped the queue.
No disco influences shock! yes, for those who have only heard me musically in the last 3 years might think that this ia a new direction, but Disco has been relatively new in the game for me, which was really all about being on the hunt for upbeat musicianship. Nah.... today we go New Wave, with a touch of dub - because that`s just me!
Sally herself is no stranger to film making,she is a designer too as well as a musician. Based in Europe and Canada, she has a following not only for her music but for her ever evolving style. Follow her on Facebook (and be sure to click for notifications!)This is my very first, out and out "music video" for someone else, it`s a very different discipline to creating VHS mixtapes - although it was nice to work on something that`s 5 minutes long and not fifteen!
