Pirate radio plays an important roles in many communities, towns and cultures. It also causes problems with the emergency services and causes major headaches for the government. The problem is this, commercial station are not interested in playing the music pirate radio plays ... they`re not interested in entertaining the core audience of a pirate station. Trying to go legit is a very tough process. Going legit is VERY expensive - it`s far cheaper to get caught by the rozzers than getting a licence. I know this personally as I was involved in radio production and engineering in the early 90s, getting on air legally with the radio association that I was involved with took a lot of form filling and a lot of disappointments. This documentary shows the life and times of a pirate radio station - the highs and the lows. This is a full documentary and not a clip. enjoy.
